The Juggernaut

The dread cogs turn unending

Always making, molding, mending

In precision made to start

It’s resolution is an art

Changing with a turn of heart

Or as the thinkers twist, contort

And forge their fate to meet their fire

In their minds a mental pyre

Will it burn or will it sit?

I guess we’ll have to wait with it.

Is it that I am afraid to act

Or is it that

I know that there are so many others acting

That eventually

Thier actions will lead

To the completion of my goal without need for trying

I guess we will find out when I need to stand up again.

I like the feeling you get when you find out so and so from high-school is a stripper, and the first thing that goes through your head is “CALLED IT”.

Marry me. Marry me for my money. People do it every day.

I’m not amused, Thomas, and I have a great sense of humor.

Then marry me for love.

A Lack Of Color Death Cab For Cutie

Song O’ the Day

Death Cab for Cutie- A Lack of Color

For some reason these words really hit me this morning-

I’m reaching for the phone
To call at 7:03, and on your machine I slur a plea for you to come home
But I know that it’s too late
I should have given you a reason to stay.

I'm Done...

With memes and rage comics. 99% of people have no idea where they started, and the community is on to bigger better things (actually, probably on to lower and more absurd forms of entertainment). I watched advice dog being created, as well as bachelor frog, courage wolf, and later rage wolf, and now there are shitty multicolored memes being created every day, not to mention the fact that memes originally had a broader definition as far as the Internet was concerned. Now, it’s the name tacked to every mildly chuckle worthy picture with some letters around it, a bastard child of advice dog, inspirational posters, and captioned photos, nothing more. Originally they were separate and unrelated memes, but once again pop culture morphs them into something retarded and annoying, like a five year old of questionable intelligence who can’t keep his food separated, yelling the same thing over and over and over as he joyously creates an unintelligible mess on his high chair table. And as far as rage comics go, copying and pasting the same images in different configurations doesn’t make you artistic or funny. You’re basically playing with digital blocks. Welcome back to kindergarten. They’ve missed you, but this time you have to sit next to Boogers McGee.

When my mother found out I was planning on getting another tattoo on my back...
  • Mom: Why do you want to put a skull and crossbones on yourself? It's so morbid.
  • Me: Every boy needs to have a tough tattoo, like a dagger, or a skull, or some other carnivorous thing.
  • Mom: I don't think 23 counts as boyhood.
  • Me: Maybe not, but I figured it would be foreboding enough to balance out that Legend of Zelda tattoo.
  • Mom: Oh yeah I forgot about that...
  • Me: But I specifically remember you throwing something at me and telling me how stupid I was.
  • Mom: You were eighteen, I threw a lot of things at you and told you that you were stupid for something or another.

Looking Glass

The things you’ll see

You never know

And I’m quite sure

It goes to show

That when your eyes

Are open wide

You’re always surprised

By what you find…
